The Business of Flourishing

Is this the right program for you right now?  Answer these questions for yourself:

This a program about your well-being.

This is a program about your career success.

An intimate group of goal-focused individuals prepared to leverage their individual strengths.

The Business of Flourishing is a comprehensive, four-part applied learning experience, divided to into separate, interconnected learning blocks grounded in the science of positive psychology and human flourishing. You are welcome to attend any or all parts of this series. Not an academic program, the science of flourishing is taught at the intersection of self-help and spirituality, allowing each participant to experience and apply the information from their most comfortable learning point.

The Business of Flourishing teaches a version of success that is backed by science; driven by your values and powered by love – love of knowing who you are; love of knowing what you value; and, the love of knowing that your greatest success comes when you love yourself enough to bring what you value to everything you do and create.

Each Part guides you to build on your knowledge of the science of flourishing by applying the teachings to your current career and business objectives.

Part I:          Positive Emotions and The Language of Your Success

Part II:      Your Goals on Values

  1. What Excuses are Holding You Back?  Applying The Habit, participants will seek to clarify what excuses are holding them back from achieving their goals.
  2. A special guest will share their journey through a diverse career to show how using your natural strengths lead you even when you don’t know where you want to go.
  3. The 3 F’s of Success:  Achievement made simple
  4. Your Goal(s) and an Action Plan
  5. The Positive Emotions that Support Your Success:  Amusement and Pride

Part III:       Your Purpose and the Meaning of Success

Part IV:       Creating the Business of Your Success

Prerequisite:

Part I: Completion of the short, three-part video series, The Habit.

Parts II-IV completion and intention to apply of The Habit on a daily basis.

Each segment of The Habit is 8-9 minutes in duration:

Begin a reflective practice if do not already have one.

Sample day-long program:

  • Confidential sharing of current objectives
  • Positive Emotion Learning Block
  • PREMA (aspects of Flourishing) Learning Block
  • A series of guided exercises that lead to a composite understanding of how to use your well-being as the foundation of your success.
  • Invigorating and inspiring discussions focused on practical ways to apply the learnings to your current objectives.
