My Grandfather’s Blessings: Stories of Strength, Refuge, and Belonging

By Rachel Naomi Remen, M.D.

A cancer physician and a survivor of lifelong chronic illness, Remen shares stories from patients and doctors and her life of receiving and giving blessings.  Inspired by her grandfather, an orthodox rabbi and student of Kaballah, she reminds us that blessing one another is what fills our emptiness, heals our loneliness and connects us more deeply to life.
