Collaborating with peers for supportive and non judgmental supervision is an ethical standard for people who work in therapeutic practices. Peer Supervision creates a safe, learning environment where the members relate as peers in an atmosphere of mutual respect, honesty and shared wisdom. Peer Supervision is necessary to develop the inner supervisor needed for accountability in the solitary setting that is Spiritual Direction. Stillpoint offers Peer Supervision to Spiritual Directors who are currently companioning directees, and who have received Certification from a recognized institution, or are interns in a formation program.
