Faith and Science: Are They Mutually Exclusive?

Facebooktwitter Share this with your Friends!

The predominant perception is that Faith and Science are mutually exclusive at their deepest levels.  While one can have a respect for both and indeed enjoy their outcomes (for example, the feeling of comfort and the reliance on cell phones), we are forced to choose one or the other at the most fundamental level: God created the universe, or the universe evolved on its own without intervention.  Scripture says God is the Creator.  Science says we cannot prove the existence of God.

Join the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences of Nevada State College as he helps us discover how faith and science reinforce each other.  Besides holding a doctorate in Genetics from the University of California, Dr. Kuniyuki has been certified by the Diocese of Las Vegas in Lay Ecclesial Ministry, Liturgical Studies, and Biblical Studies.
